Today I made one small change to this website. I no longer have a “Bible Blog.” It is now called “Scripture in Your Heart,” because I have started a new phase of writing. I am continuing to work on my novel in hopes of getting it published, but I have added the project of writing about a method of Bible study. For the past few months, my goal has been to write a verse by verse personal commentary of the Bible. Now I am feeling led to write up my method of completing this project and create a workbook so others can do the same if they are interested.
I know writing a commentary sounds like a daunting and almost impossible task. In fact, the first time I thought about doing it, my response was “God, You have to be kidding me!” To tell the truth that was my response several times I heard God telling me to write this. But finally I gave up the argument and started the project. I’m learning a lot and even though I don’t think I will finish it in my lifetime, I’m discovering it isn’t as bad as I thought it would be, so I have named it “Scripture in My Heart.”
Several months ago, when I first started the commentary, I was putting bits and pieces of it on my “Bible Blog.” But as usual, I got sidetracked. Now I’ve decided to get back on the right track because it was a positive project which brought me a lot of piece. Therefore, I’m starting to post pieces of my commentary again and over the next few weeks, I will let you know what is happening with the workbook and other opportunities centered around “Scripture in My Heart.”
