On Fridays I write about personal issues. And today, it is about change, especially the ones over the past year.

I found this quote from Dr. Seuss “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”

I have faced several issues in the last year. Some were health issues. Others related to my positions in organizations of which I am a member. A lot has changed. At first, I felt really bad about it and did a lot of crying. With time I started seeing a positive side to these situations. My time is being freed up and I have a strong feeling God is preparing a new project for me to be a part of. I don’t know what that project is and I may not even realize I’m in the new project until I’m in the middle of it. I love it when He surprises me that way.

So, I’ve stopped crying and am sitting here today thinking about all the wonderful things that have happened as a result of the changes in my health and the joys I had in the positions I was in. I’ve grown a lot through everything that has happened. And those memories are bringing smiles to my face.

Dr. Seuss was right.
