Definations:

Genre fiction has rules which must be obeyed.

Literary fiction has characters I like who are tossed into the worst situations and it brings up the big questions of life. Literary fiction has the potential to change the reader.

Non-Fiction has some entertainment value, especially with memoirs.

Memoirs happen over time with reflection about a change in the person’s life

The core of non-fiction is Problem/Solution.
